IT & Digital Communications Officer

We are seeking a versatile, creative and technology-driven IT & Digital Communications Officer. Information Technology is the foundation of the role, while the successful candidate will also support content creation, graphic design, social media, photography, digital engagement and online communication.

• Provide day-to-day IT support across the organization.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, software, peripherals and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot common hardware, software, network, connectivity and user-related issues.
• Support staff in using organizational systems, applications and digital tools.
• Assist in maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure and digital platforms.
• Create engaging digital content and design professional graphics, posters, announcements and social-media materials.
• Take and prepare photographs and visual content covering organizational activities and events.
• Create, edit, schedule and publish social-media content and regularly update the organization's platforms.
• Follow up with departments to collect information about programs, activities, events, achievements and announcements.
• Monitor and respond professionally to comments, messages, enquiries and audience interactions.
• Support a consistent professional digital presence and use modern digital / AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve workflows.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong practical IT knowledge and troubleshooting ability, including hardware, software, networking and common office technology.
• Demonstrated ability to create digital content and use major social-media platforms professionally.
• Graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator or similar tools.
• Photography and basic photo / video editing skills are an added advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage professionally with online audiences.
• Familiarity with modern AI and digital productivity tools is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities and proactively follow up on activities.
